World Of Warcraft Gold Guide – Get Rich In WoW

Sunday, August 29th, 2010

One of the hottest MMORPG or Massively Multiplayer Online Role Playing Games to hit the market today is World of Warcraft. Here, you will join an online community full of real people who also play the game. You will take part in quests and also build your reputation by leveling up to the highest level. You will also be able to socialize with other people through chatting and this game is also known for having its own economy.

In the game, World of Warcraft, you need to remember that having gold (currency in the World of Warcraft) will increase your chances of being successful. Gold will have a major effect on your game play as it will be your tool to purchase the latest weapons and also purchase different kinds of skills for your character to learn.

Perfecting your character means that you will need a lot of gold to do so. Basically, you will be able to earn gold by killing monsters and also through trade. However, you need to remember that this is not the only way to earn gold in the game. So, here are some tips to get rich quick in the World of Warcraft.

The first tip is that you should get a profession early in the game. With a profession, you will be able to have the advantage over other characters as you will be raking in the gold faster then they can and you will also be able to purchase more powerful weapons and armor to help you level up faster and also to improve your character. The two kinds of professions that is highly recommended and are very good in getting gold is mining and skinning.

Skinning refers to killing animals and other creatures in the World of Warcraft game. When you kill animals and other creatures, you will be able to skin the animals and sell the to AI vendors or also to other players with profit. The great thing about this is that as you kill animals and creatures, you will not only profit from it, but you will also level up your character.

The mining profession is also a gold raking profession that will definitely give you some profit. As you play, you will come across prosperous mineral ores. Normally, you will run into these ores in caves. You also need to remember that there are different kinds of minerals in the game and some are very high in demand and very valuable that can earn you lots of gold.

Another great way to earn gold in World of Warcraft is by taking on quests. You will normally be given quests by AI characters which differ from level to level. The great thing about taking on quests is that not only will you gain experience from killing monsters while you are on the quest, but will also help you gain some great items and money. This is great for players who want to level up faster and also get richer.

Of course, as you level up, you will need new gears in order for you to become more effective in killing monsters. More powerful gears will get more expensive. This is why it is important for you to invest wisely on the gears you purchase. For characters that are in levels 1 to 40, it is highly recommended that you should not invest a lot of money on gears and items. This will enable you to save money to let you buy more powerful gears, items and skills.

These are the things that you need to remember when you are playing World of Warcraft. With this in mind, you will be able to get rich and also level up faster in the game.

World of Warcraft: Low-level Gold Farming

Wednesday, August 11th, 2010

I’m annoyed. No, I’m VERY annoyed. You could even say I’m miffed. Definitely on my way to peeved.

Let me explain.

I was reading some articles this morning about farming. Eh, I don’t only write them, but I read them as well. I can’t say that I’ve read them all, but I’ve read enough. Almost all of them recommend great farming spots, such as:

* Winterspring

* Eastern Plaguelands

* Anywhere in Outlands

Look, the first two are fantastic farming spots – think Ice Thistle Yetis – and we all know that in Outlands, the roads are paved with Gold.

But there’s something very WRONG. Come on, people. You have to be level 50+ for Winterspring, 55+ for Eastern Plaguelands, and level 58 just to enter Outlands, never mind actually killing anything.

If you’re a new player, or an experienced played on a new server – no rich sugar daddy – what are you going to do? Hope for Blue or Epic drops, from Hogger maybe? Vendor Linen Cloth? Try to be a ‘Master of the Universe’ on the Auction House and maybe lose your Red Linen Shirt? (That’s a reference to ‘Bonfire of the Vanities’ for you non-readers out there)

Fortunately, Renei is here with the solution to your low-level gold farming problems! Yes, Gold, not silver and coppers. If you follow this extremely simple recipe for success, I personally guarantee you 25g or more in 5 days, which you’ll agree is quite a bit for a low-level character with no backup (i.e., a friendly same-account level 70 who’s oozing WoW Gold from every orifice).

It won’t even take long.

Get out of the start area after getting your new character to level 6. That’s about the time they kick you out to Goldshire if you’re playing Alliance. Go to Stormwind, in the Dwark Quarter and pick mining. Buy a mining pick from the Mining Supplies vendor so conveniently located at the bottom of the stairs. Pick up any other skill you want while you’re there.

Then, go back to Goldshire and resume your adventures. By the time you are level 15, which won’t take very long since Blizzard redid the experience grids, you’ll be able to go anywhere in Elwynn forest, mining with impunity all the the while.

So you’re thinking, “Renei, is that your big GOLD SECRET!? That’s so lame, dude!” Yes, well, whatever. At level 15, in a one hour run through Elwynn Forest, you should be able to gather about 100 copper ore, turn it into 100 Copper Bars, and sell them for a minimum of 1g per stack at the Auction House. You can probably get more if you sell only on Weekends, which you should do anyways.

So you do this for 5 days, and you make yourself a minimum of 25g. That’s not even counting all the linen cloth you’ll be able to collect, the occasional green drops, the Shadowgems and Tiger’s Eye, even the Rough Stone, the money you’ll collect from all the mobs you kill (easily, since you’ll be level 15 – at least 3 levels above any mob in Elwynn), all the Chests you’ll loot… I could go on (and will, in another article). Remember: Everything that is not ‘Gray’ goes to the Auction House, never the Vendor!

In closing, remember that you only need to keep mining for a little while, as long as you feel like making easy low-level WoW Gold. At low levels it is very easy to switch to another profession and bring it up to the same level as your other skills without a huge time investment.

Making Your Own Gold In World Of Warcraft

Saturday, August 7th, 2010

Before I begin, let me note something of a disclaimer. By putting the strategies I outline for you here to use in your World of Warcraft gameplay, you will easily make enough gold for the most basic needs for your character, such as enchants, repair and leveling your profession. You won’t make mountains of gold for them, however, so if you like to be tricked out with all the latest things or you don’t mind spending big inside the game, you’ll likely want to take a look at one of the gold making guides available online.

It’s also worth noting too, that even if you want a really grand epic flying mount, you don’t need to be buying gold from gold farmers. You can earn it all yourself without breaking any rules of the game. Now let’s move on to the gold making tips.

The biggest money-making professions in World of Warcraft are the mining professions. Getting your mining up and selling the bars you make, will make you a lot of gold, especially in the lower levels. The trick is not to have a profession that will use up the ore, so you don’t want to become a blacksmith. You want to have that ore available to sell to other players.

Another good profession to have is enchanting, so that you can disenchant any greens or blues that you find. That way you’ll get enchanting materials out of your useless soulbound rewards and all the useless crud you pick up in dungeons. The green shield you found in Blackfathom Depths won’t sell for anything, but the strange dust you disenchant from it will sell easily. The Auction House deposits on enchanting materials are practically nothing, so you can afford to keep putting it them up for auction over and over again. Once you know the prices of things, you can buy them cheap from others and sell them more expensively.

If you’re focused on leveling, the best advice you’ll have is this: don’t spend your money on low-level blues and purples. If you happen to pick one up, go ahead and equip it, or better yet, sell it off to some other sucker. Weekends are the best time to sell your low-level blues and purples, the PVP (player vs. player) twinks will snap them up in a heartbeat. In five more levels that purple staff you paid 800g for will be useless, and you’ll replace it with a green and be out a ton of gold. Don’t get stars in your eyes till 70. If you want nifty blues, run dungeons and get rewards from there. Then you’ll have the benefit of free blues, greens to disenchant, money from mobs, and learning to play your character.

Once you’ve reached 70, be sure to quest as frequently as possible – every quest you do will earn you much more gold than you’ll get at prior levels. If you ever reach the mythical 5200 gold required for an epic bird, you can then do quests like the Netherwing reputation line, where you do daily quests, earn reputation, and get paid for it. You can make fistfuls of gold that way, it just takes some time to get there.

You should generally farm your own mats for any enchants you’re looking to pick up, but remember, time is money. If you only have two hours a day to play, what’s your most financially viable strategy? Should you make 200g from questing, or spend that two hours farming 20g worth of motes of fire? Better to have that extra 180g. Balance your time and money correctly and you should have enough for what you need. To really maximize your gold-making opportunities, a World of Warcraft gold making guide will be a big boost to your efforts and is well worth the initial investment. Using a guide cuts down on the learning curve so you can quickly fill your bags with a lot more loot and it will save you both time and money (both virtual and real) in the long run.

World of Warcraft Gold – Great Gold Farming Tips For WoW

Sunday, August 1st, 2010

Getting more gold is always one of the things any World of Warcraft player is trying to achieve, and it can be especially tough to accomplish when you are new to the game and don’t quite know where to start farming for gold. Unfortunately, you really do need to learn how to farm gold fairly quickly because that money is going to be needed so you can continue to level as well. You need plenty of gold to buy equipment and other items. So here’s a brief overview of some of the different ways that you can earn gold in WoW. I hope these gold farming tips will help you out.

The easiest way to get gold is to have the correct profession. The gathering professions such as mining, herbalism and skinning will make you money quickly. Even at the lower levels, you can gather up items and sell them at the auction houses. If you have skinning as your profession, you can skin a dead animal and make leather to sell. A mining profession will allow you to gather copper and iron ores. These can be made into to bars to sell to the blacksmiths at the auction houses. The herbalism profession will allow you to gather various herbs that can be sold at the auction houses also. So as you can see, it is not that difficult to make gold in World of Warcraft, but it can be time consuming.

Fishing is a good skill to have to make money also. Certain types of fish are in high demand and can be sold in the auction house for a decent amount of gold. The great thing is that you can have more than one profession. So fishing can be a secondary profession in addition to mining.

You can also earn gold by finishing the quests. Try to do as many quests as possible to earn as much as you can. It is a good idea to have more than one character. You can transfer important items back and forth between characters and you can also carry more items with more than one character. The second character is usually referred to as an “alt” and sometimes it makes sense just to have your alt hang out by the auction house so as soon as you get something really valuable during a quest, you can immediately transfer it back to your Alt and then have it sold in the Auction House.

Here is another important gold farming tip, though you might not guess that it would be. Be nice to people that you do business with. Remember, as in the real world, you are in competition with other people in the game that are selling the same thing you are. If you have a reputation for being easy to deal with, you can make more money from repeat customers.

Be an expert on what you are selling. If one item has a lot more uses than another item, then the item that has more uses is probably going to sell a lot better. Also be aware of the markets. Learn what the item goes for on the average to keep yourself from getting taken.

Hopefully these WoW gold farming tips will give you a good head-start. But there’s a lot more to learn and a good gold guide will prove invaluable to your quest. You will find that gold helps you level fast as well as getting you all of the goodies you want just for fun.

If you want the best gold farming guide, get Warcraft Riches. It is the most comprehensive available and will show you everything from the best gold farming spots to how to use the auction house to full advantage.

World of Warcraft Valkor’s Gold Guide Reviewed

Wednesday, July 28th, 2010

When I first started playing World of Warcraft as a young Alliance Mage in my early levels, I struggled to make gold. I would try this scheme and that scheme but barely made enough silver to cover my bar bill at the Pig & Whistle. It was only upon discovering Valkor’s Gold Making Guide that I finally understood the secret to easy wow gold and quickly made enough gold for my first epic mount.

Valkor has been writing about gold making in the World of Warcraft for many years and was one of the first books I purchased on the subject. I’ve since gone on to write much more on the topic of the World of Warcraft gold economy, but Valkor’s guide was the first to simply layout the basics.

Unlike some tatty gold making e-books on the web that I could name, Valkor’s Gold Making Guide is a fully fleshed-out e-book, complete with a table of contents for easy navigation of the masses of gold making hints and tips which comprise 180 pages in the latest edition.

The guide starts with the basics of making gold with an overview of the Auction House. Rather strangely, Valkor splits this section in two places in the guide, which is a little strange, but essentially, all the basic facts are covered.

The guide then goes on to deal with the professions and Valkor does a nice job of covering the basics of making gold with both Primary (Skinning, Herbalism, Mining etc) and Secondary (Fishing) professions. Unlike other guides, Valkor’s Gold Making Guide covers in detail those items needed for ‘Profession Quests’. These items are always in demand and hence, can make you a ton of gold.

Now when you first start out playing the World of Warcraft in your lower levels, it can be quite hard to make gold. Many guides assume that you can happily grind away at elite level 50 mobs or solo instance runs to make gold which, of course, is impossible when you’re in your teens. Realising this, Valkor’s guide has a good section on low level gold making strategies that should see many players make enough gold for their first mount.

For more experienced players, Valkor’s Gold Guide has a huge section on some great grinding spots from the Badlands to Winterspring, which should satisfy both Horde and Alliance factions alike.

True to form, Valkor has kept his guide regularly updated and his latest guide has huge sections on both the Burning Crusade and Wrath of the Lich King expansions.

I’ve written a more in-depth review of Valkor’s Gold Making Guide in my journal – just follow the links below.

Marcus Ty writes extensively on the art and craft of making World of Warcraft Gold. His tips and strategies are chronicled in The Journal of Marcus Ty – Gold Making Guide. Read a more detailed review of Valkor’s Gold Guide

How to Make Easy World of Warcraft Gold

Friday, July 23rd, 2010

You have chanced upon a page from the Journal of Marcus Ty – a Gold Making Guide in which I have chronicled my time in the land of Azeroth and the labour bent upon the making of cheap World of Warcraft gold. In this part of my guide I talk about some of the ways that you can make easy World of Warcraft gold.

Making gold in WoW doesn’t have to be hard. By applying some basic gold making strategies, based on the gold economy of the World of Warcraft, anyone can obtain cheap WoW gold quickly and easily without having to grind away for hours at a time.

I’m always amazed when reading other peoples posts on blogs and forums when they describe the thumb-breaking methods they use to make a few gold coins in WoW. A typical post always seems to begin with someone’s ’secret’ grinding spot where – at level 70 – they pull a mid-level mob and spend the next hour grinding them into oblivion for a few silver apiece and the occasional drop of a green. Rinse and repeat for the next 8 hours, they advise, and you might have enough gold coin to pay off your bar bill at the Pig and Whistle (Stormwind)!

Not that I’m against grinding the occasional mob, but I normally do it as part of a quest or to obtain a particular item that I know will sell well on the Auction House. By combining questing with grinding, you’ll level faster and make wow gold with greater ease.

And you would be wrong to assume that you have to have reached level 60 – 70 to farm for World of Warcraft gold. It certainly helps if your only strategy is to mass pull mobs and grind for hours, but there are many more ways to make easy wow gold than just grinding.

As an example, I created a Gnome alt based on the Warlock class – no particular reason, except I haven’t tried that combination before. I leveled him to 5 in about 30mins and trained him in the Mining and Engineering professions – a gathering and crafting profession that compliment one another. Level 5 is the earliest that players can train for a profession. I then ran a route around Dun Morogh and built up a stack of copper which I then auctioned for several gold coins on my server. Copper still sells very well on most servers due to the high demand from all the crafters – Jewelcrafting, Blacksmithing, Engineering, etc.

Now, the gathering of a stack of copper took me no more than about 15mins, which equates to about 6-8 gold/hour. For a low level character, this basic strategy is a more efficient – and predictable – way of generating gold than trying to grind endless mobs. The same principle applies to the other gathering professions – Herbalism, Skinning and Fishing (yes, fishing). By supplying what’s in demand in the Auction House, you’ll make gold fast.

To continue with this example, my Gnome alt used his newly acquired gold wisely and bought and sold a number of selected items from the Auction House and quickly built up his stash to 25 gold coins and a few silver in loose change! Knowing how to work the Auction House in your favor is a big factor in building your stash of cheap wow gold.

With a few more hours of gameplay under his belt, my Gnome alt is now level 10 and has a stash of a little over 50 gold coins. But here’s the thing: I’ve managed to level up his Engineering to 165! This was funded from buying most of the materials from the Auction House by careful and artful trading.

So, you don’t have to be a high level player to make gold in wow. With a good combination of profession and an understanding of the Auction House, you can make easy wow gold at any level.

World of Warcraft Quest Guide – All You Need to Know About WoW Gold Farming

Tuesday, July 20th, 2010

The World of Warcraft has won the hearts of millions of players throughout the globe. The game has got its popularity even in its adapted versions in different languages. To begin with it is a good idea to have a World of Warcraft Quest Guide. As opposed to real-time strategy games, World of Warcraft is an MMORPG or Massively Multi-player Online Role-playing Game. As more and more gamers are becoming enticed by fictitious locations such as Kalimdor and the Bloodmyst isles, they are also looking to ‘leveling up’ their characters in the quickest time possible, with the least number of pitfalls. If you are a World of Warcraft enthusiast, chances are that you have already scouted around online for World of Warcraft Quest Guide.

As you probably know, the adrenalin rush actually picks up speed after you have crossed the level 30. What is it that you must do when you need to level up your character super fast? Well, there are any numbers of websites only too willing to dispense free advice to eager gamers. But most of the time they can mislead you. Hence your best bet is to invest in a World of Warcarft quest guide as the tips available in them are compiled by experts who have watched the market patiently and have been great gamers themselves. These guides assure you of the best both in terms of being time savers and quality guarantors.

It can even teach you how to make 1700 gold per hour. For sure, you don’t want to get into a haphazard quest for appropriate locations in your guild. You need to follow a sequence whereby your character is able to level up as quickly as you want it to. The guide makes sure that you do that.

If you are a beginner in this strategy game you must get a World of Warcarft quest guide. Both the experts and the guide will inform you that ‘leveling up’ your character initially is pretty easy. It gets more complicated, competitive and demanding later on. Once you have a genuine guide the excitement becomes palpable as you move into different geographies, meet challenges, slay monsters and keep going up level-wise. In many ways, psychologically speaking, it is like making your way through the stock market jungle for that pot of gold at the bottom of the proverbial rainbow. It is also like proceeding through a race track replete with barriers and obstacles and with the adrenalin rush set to as high a limit.

The World of Warcraft quest guides are not only used by initiates but also by those who are building a character in a disparate race or those who are trying ‘power leveling’ to shoot up to 70 levels within the shortest time span.

Obviously, if you are trying to build a new character in another race, you will need guidance in terms of unfamiliar terrain, territories, and activities. Be sure to get this World of Warcraft Quest Guide that is not only authored but also upgraded as well as supported by professional Level 70 World of Warcraft gamers (http://www.warcraft-gold-wow.com/
